Job Description


The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the Manufacturing and Corporate Teams and ensuring the effective implementation of services, policies, and programs.  Leads or co-leads the following functional areas: Talent Acquisition (college recruitment and New Grad program), data analysis, employee relations for engagement, recognition, and employee development.  Responsibility of the Engagement Survey process in the US, Canada and Europe. Assists in HR issues with continual emphasis on organizational improvement, confidentiality and high-performance.  

  1. Leads onboarding activities for new hires within the Manufacturing and corporate office.
  2. Assists in development and training programs for salaried employees.
  3. Assists with the Talent Acquisition efforts for College Recruiting activities.
  4. Co-leads the New Grad Program.
  5. Supports the HR Director on engagement and recognition activities.
  6. Responsible for Engagement process across all US and Europe
  7. Develops & Implements Engagement Survey across US, and Europe, aligned with LATAM
  8. Implements Engagement action plans across US, and Europe
  9. Assists with the planning and administration of HR policies and procedures; maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  10. Interprets and analyzes HR data.
  11. Create and/or assist with HR data reporting.
  12. Responsible for the resolution of employee relations issues within the manufacturing and corporate team.

Job Requirements

Experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.

Individual with 3 years of human resources related experience .   Must be reliable and able to handle confidential information with discretion. Must show initiative, good judgment, and ability to collaborate with others.  Must be able to cope with pressure of deadlines, sudden increases in work demands, work with little or no supervision, and be able to effectively deal with others in a tactful, courteous, and personable manner.


The incumbent must maintain the highest level of integrity in the execution on his/her work, including handling matters requiring confidentiality. S/he must demonstrate initiative, time management, project management, and organization skills.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are needed. Must possess strong analytical and detail orientation skills.


A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related four-year degree in an accredited post-secondary institution is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.  A minimum of three years HR related experience (including internships) in roles at the corporate level and knowledge of applicable federal and state laws is required.

Office / R&D environment, visits to various plants and other corporate locations

Travel up to 15% of the time.
