We are seeking an Inventory/Customer Service Analyst that will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager. The incumbent is responsible for:

• Managing and controlling inventory assets utilizing materials management concepts
• Utilizing key performance indicators for decision making and actionable recommendations regarding inventory management
• Determining and managing disposition of surplus/obsolete inventory
• Participating in cross functional teams to implement creative solutions regarding process or system modifications
• Administration of export shipments and external glass purchases
• Responding/reacting to customer requests for scheduling/shipping information. Backup resource for internal glass customer service functions

Job Requirements

Requirements:
Minimum of Associates Degree in Business or related field
Knowledge/experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Visio and related software
Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required
Problem solving techniques consistent with industry “best practices”

Desired Skills:
5+ years of manufacturing experience in a continuous process environment with a focus on inventory or operations management
Customer service experience
Cross functional understanding of distribution and supply chain management
Planning experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
APICS/ISM certification
