Job Description

Vitro is seeking a Sales Manager for the aftermarket segment of the business. 

This position can be located in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Austin. 

The main function of the sales manager is to increase the sale of automotive replacement glass in the distribution segment of the United States of America, strategically positioning our brands.

Key Roles and Responsibilities include: 

  • Establishment of the Commercial Strategy.
  • Establishment of Marketing Plan.
  • Negotiation at the Executive level of Sales, Prices and Commercial Agreements.
  • Management of the Value Chain until the Delivery of Product to Customer.
  • Positioning of the Brand in High Value Segments. 
  • Seeking new customer leads and new markets.
  • Providing Vitro Presentation to potential and existing customers.
  • Regular customer visits.
  • Negotiate pricing with customer.
  • Negotiating delivery schedule with customer and/or factory.
  • Manage forecast, inventory, and AP goals.
  • Manage QA responses and actions when rejection occur.
  • Monitor Quality responses and actions to effectively and quickly close rejections when they occur.
  • Manage service issues and set priorities with the plant and with Customer Service.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years sales experience in the Texas area
  • Demonstrated skills in prospecting, negotiating and closing sales in the distribution market, preferably automotive glass
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
