Our coating facility operation in Salem, Oregon seeks an experienced and innovative Process Control Engineer with an Electrical background. The successful candidate will provide engineering support throughout the facility and find ways to maximize productivity and yields without compromising safety.   He/she determines the most efficient manufacturing methods that will produce a quality product.  Supervises the installation of new production equipment.  Interacts with vendors and corporate engineering to aid in start-up of new equipment.

The incumbent keeps current on all process control developments throughout the flat glass business unit by communicating with corporate research and development, and by interacting with peers at other facilities.   Maintains a constant awareness of plant status in complying with regulatory agencies requirements, and supports departmental, plant and corporate policies and goals with regard to achieving the highest levels of safety, housekeeping and environmental standards.
