Organize and maintain the Vitro Automotive engineering/manufacturing databases in support of the Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering and Manufacturing functions.

  • Manage and publish Vitro Automotive product data.
  • Collect and maintain up-to-date data on products and services through their life cycle, from development through the useful life of the product
  • Monitor engineering changes and update database.
  • Supports and works with these departments and plants to review and collect product and performance information
  • Provides on-going analytical support through the utilization of data management.
  • Keep updated information of the new products information and new lines expected performance.
  • Conducts analyses to validate the reliability of the information
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and patterns in complex data sets
  • Audits system data in order to guarantee compliance, accuracy, and duplication management
  • Designs targeted reports and dashboards
  • Works with data warehousing engineering in order to clean and filter data
  • Works with the assigned departmental heads, management, and stakeholders, providing these departments with data-driven information, reports and analyses.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience 
  • Bachelors Degree is Required with a degree in Supply Chain Management or Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics Engineering 
  • Spanish bi-lingual is desired 
  • This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • Works in an office environment with up to 20% of time spent in a manufacturing plant.
  • Knowledge of Vitro Automotive products and services.
  • Knowledge of configuration management
  • Knowledge of the engineering change management process
  • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with engineering and manufacturing modules in the SAP ERP system.
  • Ability to work with Vitro’s business systems (SAP, NACCS, Oracle, etc.) and extract, organize and analyze data.
  • Computer and technically savvy
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Able to operate in a fast paced environment; ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management
