The QA Technical Specialist is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in meeting and/or exceeding Customer requirements. In addition, this position will maintain the organization of the Quality Lab by ensuring QC Technicians are
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set daily priorities for QC Techs, including check frequency, sample collection, in-bound inspection, customer visits, and project work.
- Review incoming request for credits analyze and pareto.
- Interface with customer and analyze customer complaints.
- Initiate, facilitate, and perform corrective actions and problem solving.
- Interface with production and engineering to solve quality issues.
- Analyzes data for quality trends.
- Improve quality with continuous improvement.
- Implement and improve ISO procedures as necessary.
- Justifies and purchases necessary lab equipment
- Inform and update management of quality status.
- Act as technical liaison between operations and QC Techs.
- Responsible for training and development of QC Techs.
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement in Quality
- Support, promote, and adhere to all Vitro rules and policies
- Facilitate and drive smooth transition at points of information exchange.
- Assists Quality Manager with any special projects as assigned.
- Mentor Plant QC Technicians.
