Job Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing data acquisition, consolidation and initial analysis through FFT or cross correlation to quantify the process variation and time constants as well as to help establish process baseline for control performance evaluation
  • Assisting experimental setup and bench testing to explore advanced process sensing instruments. Encouraged to help develop/program some basic automation tools to facilitate fundamental routine image or spectra data analysis of new devices.
  • Semi-empirical energy balance model or fundamental finite element model development to prescreen soft-sensor concepts and pave the way for process model formulation.
