Job Description


This position will provide governance and a standardization of Quality Systems within all of Vitro's US manufacturing plants. It requires a strong background working with Quality Systems in the automotive industry. The incumbent for this position will coordinate, create, and liaison the Quality Systems process in support of US plants and also execute those processes internally and with a customer focus. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • TQM Systems
    • Plan, lead, manage, process control and activities related to Quality Systems Management, to assure customer standards and regulations compliance, and continuous improvement. Highly expert on IATF systems and audits.
  • Quality Manual
    • Set the goals and targets for company Quality standards, implementing all the tools needed to assure goals achievements globally
  • Quality Policy
    • Set up the action plans for internal process improvements, assure main three main Quality Management and business priorities, customer, USA market and company interest
  • Quality Procedures
    • Assure company procedure standardization for product manufacturing processes, and customer service that our company provides to all customers. Highly expert on IATF systems and audits.
  • Quality Systems Inspections
    • Set up of Quality criteria’s measurements, methods for acceptance or rejection standards of our products based on customer specs and requirements. Develop and implement self-confirmation points for Process Quality.
  • Quality Systems Audits
    • Coordinate and implement in liaison with Quality team support of US plants, internal and external quality audits and successfully assure their execution. Highly expert on IATF systems and audits.
  • Manufacturing Process Monitoring
    • Develop, implement, and standardize internal audits based on 4M’s, process control in US plants for correct execution.

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience within the automotive industry with background focused in Quality, Manufacturing, and Maintenance
  • Experience working with IATF systems and audits

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Experience working within the automotive glass industry
  • Solid communication skills (both verbal and written) 
  • The interpersonal skills required for regular ongoing interactions with plant management, staff and corporate executive management
