This position is primarily responsible of the Master planning process, he/she will be responsible of the analysis and management of the Inventory health (Inventory age track, DOI analysis, ABC classification management). 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monthly elaboration of the Master Production Plan (Tanks, Coaters, Tempered lines)
  • Work with plant production managers to build campaign schedules for float glass products on clear and tinted glass 
  • Monitor, analyze and report on inventory health system wide and at individual plant and warehouse locations down to the SKU item level for uncoated common glass, annealed/tempered glass, raw glass substrates, and finished coated product 
  • Monitor make to order products (PTO) inventory and enforce timely shipping to fulfill customer requests
  • Coordinate and lead weekly communications between Operations, Customer Service, Sales and Supply Chain (Float Operations, Coater Operations)
  • Oversee and manage steel rack and containers forecast and returns for all US operations 

Strategic: 

  • Optimize Assets utilization (Tanks / Coater)
  • Optimize Inventory health

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics preferred
  • Requires 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain/logistics or relevant work experience

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience/knowledge in master planning, inventory management and S&OP process ideal
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid computer skills handling Excel databases
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
