Vitro is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the aftermarket segment of the business, in Dallas, TX. 

This position requires a person with experience in distribution systems, preferably with experience in trade between Mexico and the United States. The candidate must have a logical and analytical thinking and be very structured in their work schemes, with high adherence to policies and procedures.

The principle focuses of Warehouse Supervisor is to design and efficiently control the operations of storage, handling, packing and transfer of finished product in the distribution centers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities include: 

  • Establish shift goals according to operational objectives
  • Determine the resources necessary to execute the shipment plan
  • Ensure reliable inventories, low waste and a minimum cost of distribution
  • Supervise and manage human and material resources to provide the customer with a highly competitive service
  • Ensure logistics operations through manuals and operating procedures that comply with company policies and guidelines
  • Ensure electronic communication with customers
  • Provide a highly competitive service
  • Review of compliance with storage and transportation providers related to distribution and service
  • Solution of complaints and service claims
  • Implementation of physical and cyclical inventories
  • Optimize operations and transports to improve customer service
  • Coordinate together with personnel from the Commercial area, Control Tower and Inventory Planning the required levels of inventory to provide an excellent service
  • Experience in the use of the warehouse management system
  • Implementation of 5's activities in warehouse
  • Elaboration procedures and work instructions according to Quality Standards
  • Coordinate the induction of new staff, as well as training
  • Perform continuous improvement

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Administration / Business / Technical Discipline
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
