The Warehouse Manager position is responsible for managing the Laredo Warehouse Glass Container Distribution Center for Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical and Wines, for US and Canada.  This position will be responsible for optimizing efficiencies, minimizing transactions costs, and providing responsive, and problem free fulfillment services to support our customers. Manage all quality procedures and ensure that ISO 9001 requirements are followed and that all quality documents are up to date and in order and to professionally represent and protect Vitro's best interests.


  • Responsible for achieving budgeted operating costs
  • Approve all expenditures
  • Negotiate contracts and quotes from suppliers on warehouse issues
  • Conduct internal audits of all warehouse operations
  • Monitor warehouse operations efficiencies
  • Perform Management review meetings
  • Monitor service level index and customer complaints
  • Documentation controller for ISO 9001 Quality System
  • Quality Assurance Coordinator for ISO 9001 (warehouse)
  • Lead Auditor for ISO 9000:2000
  • Develop activities assigned by immediate supervisor in order to comply with the Matrix of Responsibility emitted by the Quality Committee of Vitro Packaging
  • Responsible for the coordination of Vitro´s certification in CTPAT-ISO28000, including:
    • Audits
    • Processes and Procedures
    • Records
    • Be the main contact with Customs for cooperation, inspection or coordination of visits
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field required
  • 5 – 10 years of Experience in Warehouse Management
  • Spanish/English required (speak, read and write)
  • Strong mathematical and statistical calculation
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
  • SAP experience preferred
